2k Sports brought back what was considered by many as the best football video game of all time, after a 3 year hiatus due to Madden getting the exclusive license for the NFL. Since the video game brought back current and past football legends, the campaign did the same with hip-hop legends. Headlining the campaign was one of the greatest rappers of all time, Rakim, who was featured in the TV spot and Charli 2na, Aceyalone, M-1, Common and Pep Love all performed for the episodes.
